The circumstances and experiences of your surroundings have a significant influence on shaping who you are as a person.
While it is true that your environment plays a role in shaping your beliefs, behaviors, and attitudes, it is important to acknowledge that human development is a complex interplay of various factors, including genetics, personal choices, and individual agency.
Being a mother and an educator for over 35 years, can expose you to a wide range of situations and scenarios while interacting with thousands of people. Both being a mother and an educator involve nurturing and caring for others. Mothers provide love, support, and guidance to their children, while educators often play a similar role in the classroom by fostering a positive learning environment and supporting students’ emotional well-being. Here are a few ways I learned in which your environment can contribute to shaping you:
Cultural and societal norms: Growing up in a particular culture or society exposes you to its values, customs, and expectations. These cultural influences can shape your worldview, attitudes, and behaviors, as you learn and adopt the beliefs and practices of those around you.
